Experience true tranquillity at one of Relax Puglia’s ‘Home for Holidays’ in the southernmost region of Italy. Puglia has attracted engaged couples and honeymooners for many centuries, due to its stunning landscapes, pristine coastline, sleepy hilltop towns and slow pace of life. The region has the sensation that time has stood still, and that’s all you could wish for during your holiday with close friends and family.
Relax Puglia provides a range of additional services to make your stay more relaxed, comfortable and enjoyable. On your arrival, we can arrange for a food basket to be waiting for you together with a selection of local wines. Why not spoil yourselves with your own, in-house local chef, or a luxurious massage in the comfort of your villa. We have a wide range of tours and activities to choose from and we can provide transfers and taxis to help you get around.
The Dolce Vita is from coast to coast; from the Adriatic to the Ionian, between Otranto and Gallipoli. If you wish to discover the key to local artisan excellence, include a stopover in one or more of the hamlets and villages that trip along the coastline, topple on the summits of hilltops or make a splash in to the small bays and lagoons.
A selection of articles that explore the region of Puglia: its wonderful countryside and coastline, its rich history, its fascinating culture, its delicious food and wine and, of course, its warm and welcoming people...
Trullo d’Amare, modern, light and suave; lays in the vast plains of the olive trees that stretch out at the feet of the spectacular, dense forested hills of Monti Pizzuto and Gianecchia. The trullo is a delightful country house with a soft stone courtyard, a wonderful olive grove and mediteranean shrubbery; complimented by a cool, blue swimming pool.
The gazebo corner serves as a canopy from the hot sun, a place to nap, meet up or enjoy the quiet rustle of the trees; embellished with brightly coloured textiles that add a vibrant energy to an otherwise carefree outside space.
Location
From Trullo d’Amare, you can visit the nearby village of Cisternino, one of the most beautiful villages in all of Italy; or descend to the coast where you can enjoy a guided cycle ride through the protected Natural Dune Park in Torre Canne, or stroll upon the white sands and step into the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic Sea. Just north of here is Fasano, a labryinth of alleyways, noble palaces and small churches; and a short distance to the Egnazia Archeological Site, which has huge historical value. The villages and towns up and down the coastline offer a number of activities; guided walking or cycling tours, a skippered boat ride, site seeing in a ‘tuk-tuk’ or an ‘ape, a buggy excursion in the countryside, water sports, dancing, musical, food and wine events.
Inside Trullo D’Amare
The bedroom space at Trullo d'Amare, a double and a twin, is calm and intimate with bare amber coloured stone walls and mellow cotton furnishings. The bedrooms maintain a discreet but secure distance, making it ideal for a young family.
Central to Trullo d’Amare, is a welcoming cosy seating area with direct access to the poolside, decorated with odd objects bearing the signature of the hosts. From here, the passageway is claimed by the elongated kitchen which communicates the shower and utility room to the outside the gazebo, which functions as a summer salon.
Outside Trullo d’Amare
The trullo was acquired to provide refreshment, rest and beauty. Its contours and roundness by day are visible and clear against the blueness of the sky. At nightime, the trullo takes on a different energy, a place to enjoy the sunsets that posture upon the horizon, everything takes on a new light, like a painting.
