Sun-kissed and Protected Space

An ancient and enchanting trullo farmhouse, located at the end of a docile dirt track in the Valle d’Itria, flanked by other conical shaped homes and a captivating landscape. The graceful simplicity of Trullo Paradiso overlooks the orchard of olive and fruit trees, in the authentic spirit of Trullo style.

Once a crumbled ruin of abandoned stones, today reassembled and restored to achieve balance and harmony, a space in Puglia both contemporary and antique.

The ‘Contrade’ of the Valle d’Itria create a network of lines in the countryside, between the suspended hilltop towns, the mighty olive trees and the reddened earth. Trullo Paradiso is wedged amongst the lands of Ostuni, Cisternino, Locorotondo, sitting upon the earth, inviting silent contemplation of dreams and an awe-inspiring side of life.

For cyclists, walkers, or on horse-back, the nearby ‘Ciclovia dell’Acquedotto Pugliese’, a non-vehicle track, is conveniently located nearby and easily accessible to visitors at Trullo Paradiso. The 500 km historic and original water system construction brought water to Puglia from Caposele in the early 20th century from the province of Avellino in the Campania district and runs through the Valle d’itria connecting the local towns and equally serves as a natural path to explore, as you wish, through the countryside.

A local shop on the country corner road serves for all purposes throughout the week. Arrive on foot for a morning stroll to collect your goods and preserves and absorb the local chatter before the day begins.

A family inspired space for children, young families, older families or extended. A place in the company of friends, making impromptu visits at all hours, just the joy of spending time together, of vacation time.

The Indoors

Kitchen corner built into the stone alcove, long bench seats softened by cushions, a well-travelled 17th century oak dining table from a French monk’s monastery complimented by period style comforts of home. The adjacent, original trullo houses the manor suite, a double bed with ensuite shower and facilities.

Next door and the independently accessed trulli, accommodate two bedrooms, the children’s room and off the corridor, another double. Each sharing a spacious shower room.

The Outdoors

A canopy beneath the whitewashed stained beams, a stage from which to view the olive grove and magnificent chestnut tree! Respecting the great quiet that reigns beneath its bows.
From hence, a discreet stone path leads to the poolside (in view of the main Villa Beatrice), in an elevated vantage point with envious views of the great Valle d’Itria.

Enjoy this paradise, in a sun-kissed and protected space.
