In the southeast Italian region of Apulia, in the province of Taranto, is the town and comune of Avetrana (Salentino: L'Aitràna). In the Province of Taranto, the town of Avetrana is located near the Salento area of Puglia. It is located 44 kilometers southeast of Taranto and has a population of about 6,000. This city is situated not far from Bari, a significant Italian town. Bari has an intriguing collection of attractions, including Trani, Velo Service, and Basilica San Nicola. It's not a diversion because you must fly to Bari to reach Avetrana. And even if it is, a little visit to the city is worthwhile. To appreciate the city, exploration should take at least one or two days.
