In the southeast Italian region of Apulia, in the province of Taranto, is the town and comune of Avetrana (Salentino: L'Aitràna). In the Province of Taranto, the town of Avetrana is located near the Salento area of Puglia. It is located 44 kilometers southeast of Taranto and has a population of about 6,000. This city is situated not far from Bari, a significant Italian town. Bari has an intriguing collection of attractions, including Trani, Velo Service, and Basilica San Nicola. It's not a diversion because you must fly to Bari to reach Avetrana. And even if it is, a little visit to the city is worthwhile. To appreciate the city, exploration should take at least one or two days.
Manduria, San Pancrazio Salentino, and Campomarino are neighboring attractions. The Hotel San Paolo in Manduria is the suggested lodging for Avetrana. This full-day trip from Bari or Ostuni has all three of Puglia's celebrated attractions: ancient cities, delectable cuisine, and great wines. You may also go to Trani, a charming port town, the old Castel Del Monte fortification, the Tormaresca vineyard, and have a delicious lunch at one of the nearby restaurants. Tour to Castel Del Monte, Trani, and wine tasting for the entire day from Bari or Ostuni.
Take a trip to the 13th-century Castel Del Monte and the ancient harbor city of Trani. Enjoy a great lunch at a restaurant with a view of the castle. Explore the acclaimed Tormaresca winery to taste a selection of Puglian wines. A great-value trip includes hotel pickup, lunch, admission costs, and wine sampling. A trip with a maximum of 10 participants offers an individualized experience.
A day excursion from Lecce to La Valle d'Itria will allow you to explore the best parts of one of Puglia's most alluring districts. You will visit the family-run La Cantina restaurant for a 4-course lunch after visiting the Trulli-style town of Alberobello, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. After you've satisfied your hunger, you'll finally make your way to Polignano a Mare, where expansive coastline views await. Locate the ideal photographic vantage locations in UNESCO-listed Alberobello. Enjoy a 4-course, freshly prepared Italian lunch that follows tradition. Learn about Volare and Domenico Modugno by going to Polignano a Mare. Utilize hotel pickup and drop-off services for simple logistics
Take a day excursion from Lecce to the Puglian beach resorts of Otranto and Castro. The tour includes a lunch at Castro's La Pizzica trattoria, transportation straight from your accommodation, and lots of free time in the two coastal gems, making it simple to explore both. As you go, a guide will educate you about the area and point out local attractions like the Cathedral of Otranto and the Castle of Castro Marim.
Skip the beaches and explore Salento's cuisine and wine instead. Visit two renowned Salento wine farms with a private tour, where varietals made from the Primitivo and malvasia grapes, among others, are produced. You may have a little lunch at the vineyard or somewhere nearby as you sip and learn about the viticulture in the area. On the way back to Lecce, you might decide to visit the third winery or stop at Porto Cesareo for a swim.
