Villa Perego claims and dominates the resplendent valley upon which it proudly sits, on a tract of land belonging to the territory of Ostuni; an area of Puglia that offers colour, light, infinite skies, olive trees and an immense scenery. The villa is an architectural reflection of its natural surroundings, taking the traditional Puglian style to contemporary heights; fully aware of its history and conscious of its future.
Formed over two levels, the villa stands against the skyline, each level leads gracefully to the stylish water pool. Villa Perego has personality, the interior design is fresh and youthful; a place of light and relaxation.
The landscape is dotted with historic farm buildings and more recently built characteristic homes in addition to endless fields of olive and fruit orchards. A charming setting that invites contemplation, a step back from reality; yet all within a 10-minute ride away of the nearest town’s amenities, restaurants, boutiques; and the popular market town of Cisternino.
For Friends & Family
The villa provides an engaging environment in which guests can share sun-kissed days by the pool and welcoming and warm summer nights; gazing across the star lit valley; a delightful combination in the company of friends or a small family.
Design co-exists with interiors that are comfortable and practical too! Natural light ensures both levels enjoy the open space. On the main floor, the full-length window paned doors open on to the veranda and the lounge. The lounge has a digital TV and a two-seater for moments of repose.
The kitchen is a cheery cool green with a modern island for breakfast or a light lunch. The way leads along a corridor to the first double bedroom, decorated in a simple chic white, with a touch of silver grey. The bedroom also has its own en suite shower room dressed in a cool beige stone. An internal stone tiled staircase takes you to the lower quarters which is home to the second bedroom, and two single beds. The twin bed opens on to the pool patio from the sliding doors, just a few steps and you can take a plunge into the green depths.
Both rooms have ample wardrobe space for luggage and holiday wear.
The entire property has an outlook on to the poolside, terraces and the surrounding rural landscape.
The elevated position of Villa Perego beckons you to the veranda edge; to survey all that is below and beyond. The endless agricultural fields of rich red soil, the almond, fig and olive trees preparing themselves for the harvest and the vast amount of greenery; such a pleasant contrast against the endless blue skies offered by Puglian summers.
The salt-based infinity swimming pool sits below the veranda balcony, a pool of aqua marine blue. A welcome sight after a day of exploring the neighbouring towns and villages or the Adriatic and Ionian beaches and coastline.

Exclusive for our Guests at Relax Puglia
Chef in Casa - Home-cooked food for travelers of the world; what better way to grasp the inner circle of local life than to have a local cook share with you their Puglia cuisine, as cooked in their homes. We are fortunate to have on board Lucrezia, who has been working with Relax Puglia for nearly ten years.
Lucrezia is warm and generous with a passion I can only envy for cooking; but looking after two growing boys has been her real inspiration; working magic with fresh and seasonal local ingredients. Enquire with us, we have set menus available to choose from or let us know what you’ve in mind.
Cooking Classes – If you are looking to entertain the family and also wish to experience real Pugliese country cooking then look no further. Hands-on cooking lessons where everyone gets to be involved making a full course meal, from anti-pasto to first and second courses and to complete it with a traditional sweet dish.
In-house Massages - Life is easier when you are relaxed so you may need to pamper yourself or someone else. Bring the Massage Therapist to your Puglia rental villa door and enjoy a delicious massage, a fusion of eastern and western techniques pointing you towards both relaxation and cure.
The best part about bringing the Massage Therapist to your door is, you don’t have to drive, you don’t have to deal with the outside world, you don't even have to get dressed although the Therapist would appreciate you wear a robe!

"Relax Puglia delivers again. Thanks Colleen for a smooth check-in and for the lovely basket of local goodies.
Villa Perego is a modern, tasteful, spacious and airy 2 bedroom villa with everything you’ll need for your stay. The effective air con in the bedroom(s) was very welcome in temperatures of 30 degrees . A dining terrace with a wonderful view of the fantastic pool and surrounding landscape makes alfresco dining very pleasant (if a little breezy when we were there). Rubbish/recycling was very well managed with easy to follow instructions and regular collections which is great to see.
Superb location , especially convenient for the delightful town of Cisternino. Ostuni and Ceglie Messapica are only a short drive away. (you will need a car). A great base to explore the delights on offer in this fantastic region. We ventured further down into the Salento and the helpful maps and recommendations from the Villa came in very handy especially when it came to exploring the many beautiful beaches.
We would highly recommend this Villa and will return. Thanks again Relax Puglia!"

"Wir sind seit 6 Jahren in Apulien und dies ist mit Abstand das schönste Haus das wir je hatten. Alles ist neu. Der Pool wird 2x pro Woche. Abfallbeseitigung ist gut geregelt. Super Organisation von Collen Boot. Sehr ruhige Lage. Alles tip-top sauber. Wir kommen wieder !!"

"We loved our stay at Villa Perego - such a beautiful villa in a remote location; it was so peaceful and the views stunning. The grounds are well maintained with olive trees, rosemary and lavender bushes everywhere so the scent is divine.
The pool was fantastic and the perfect place to lie back and relax. The villa was sparkling clean and tastefully decorated with plenty of room for our family of 4. The welcome hamper, fridge filled with fresh ham, cheese, eggs and mozzarella plus wine was most welcome and the cupboards were stocked with plenty of ingredients like teabags, sugar and condiments.
You could start your holiday as soon as you entered the villa - everything we needed was there.
Location is excellent with Cisterno really close by and our favourite town of Martina Franca. Thank you Colleen for being so helpful and providing us with reassurance for our trip throughout the preceding months.
We adore Puglia and wish we could have our very own villa just like Perego!"
Feldmar Family - July 2020
"Hi Colleen. Just a quick note to say that we have had an absolutely wonderful time at Villa Perego and will be sorry to move on tomorrow. Many thanks to you and your colleagues for your kind welcome to both the Villa and also to this part of Italy, which we have absolutely fallen in love with and will definitely return. Also, I’d be grateful if you could please pass on our thanks to the owners of Villa Perego - we think it is absolutely delightful and has added to our enjoyment of our holiday immeasurably. What a wonderful place for some R&R and as a base for exploring the delights of Puglia.
By the way, I hadn’t realised that you were rather a celebrity in these parts. In my holiday reading downloads is a book called ‘Soul of the Heel’ by Scott Bergstein, in which it appears that you play a bit of a starring role!
Many thanks once again. I really hope that we will be back again soon!"
