The villa is located in the peaceful quiet of the countryside and easily accessed via country lanes. The land surrounding the villa extends to around one hectare populated with a number of ancient olive trees fig and other fruit varieties too. The property is a 12! minute drive from the historic “white town” of Ostuni which has a number of restaurants to choose from for all budgets.

Ostuni is a beautiful and majestic coastal town with spectacular views from the old town over the Adriatic Sea, buzzing with tourists all year round. There are a number of religious and traditional festivals plus street markets in the evenings for all the family to enjoy. If you wish to get away from the crowds, the nearby town of Carovigno is an excellent alternative for local shopping, bars and restaurants.  Equally the coast is an approximately 15-minute drive away where you can find a number of private and public beaches, nature reserves and seafood restaurants. also, a good place to purchase pool accessories (Toys!)

Further details of indoors:

The house is composed of 3 bedrooms (two with queen-size beds, one twin), 1 family bathroom and two convenient en-suites (all with shower and toilet), sleeping 6 comfortably. There is air conditioning in two of the bedrooms and a fan in the “trullo” bedroom. Gas central heating is also available for low season rentals.

There’s a modern kitchen with fridge, gas oven and microwave; plus a large freezer and a washing machine for guest use within an outside utility room.

The cool and spacious open plan lounge/dining room features comfortable furnishings and a long table that’s ideal for family dining. Also provided are a selection of books and dvds for your leisure. At the front of the villa is a spacious covered veranda with table and benches for dining and relaxing.

Further details of the outdoors:

There’s a stone built BBQ and an outside dining area surrounded by Bougainvillea and Jasmine plants. A roof terrace with distant sea views is reached via stone steps.

One of the highlights is a large and fully fenced and paved swimming pool 14m x 7m with diving board and surrounding and internal lighting. Reviews

"Beautiful villa lost in the middle of a beautiful olive grove. Huge pool and perfectly maintained twice a week. The owners are adorable and care about the well-being of the tenants before and during the stay: precise mails, telephone to give advices, detailed guide of the villa and the area proposed on the spot. A contact person is present on site and does everything to facilitate the stay of guests. All the photos correspond to the reality and make it possible to be well aware of the environment and the interior of the house. The city of Ostuni is 15 minutes away and offers all the amenities, besides being a cute little town. The only negative point (or not, depending on what you are looking for) is that the sights are 45 minutes or so so be prepared to do a little car. We spent a week in the villa and we had a lot of fun. We recommend this rental."

"This villa was lovely, there were 2 folders explaining everything we needed to know about the villa and also the area which we found tremendously helpful. Check in and explanation was great and in English, what to do if we lost power etc. Having the manager on Whats App was good and she responded quickly to any concerns. It was very private, well maintained and serviced. The change of sheets and clean up half way through our stay was appreciated, as was the basket of local products and there was plenty of drinking water for us when we arrived. They recycle paper, plastic, glass and organic matter and have bins with enough bags that we did not have to go shopping and try to find biodegradable bags. The closest grocery store was Famila with a wine shop next door, if however you are trying to save on expenses I would totally recommend the new Euro Spa a few minutes past the Famila, all well signed and the weekly market in Carovigno (less busy than Ostuni) for fresh vegetables meat and cheeses. We did have a hiccup during our stay but it was rectified to our satisfaction. There was a booklet for recommendations for improvements I believe they take it seriously. One thing to remember is in Southern Italy is in the middle of the day nothing gets done quickly, relax and enjoy."

"It was a pleasure to be in this house. The house is very well-equiped and we found all we needed. We just had one little "problem": the air conditioning of the two bedroom made a lot of noise. When we put it on it startedt to "whistle".

"Lovely Villa in Puglia with amazing pool
 ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆
We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Tamburroni. From the moment we booked through to checkout everything was perfect. Dealing with Carly was easy and informative and Colleen who met us at the meeting point was great. The villa is lovely and traditional, spotlessly clean and ideal for a family getaway. The pool was amazing.
We were also touched by the generous welcome hamper on arrival. All the information you need is clearly set out.
We could not have asked for a more pleasant stay, Thank you Carly and John"
