Bring your sketchbooks, writing paper & pencils and be prepared to get inspired. Puglia like many hidden gems around the world has been a well-kept secret until recent years. Once upon a time, Puglia was the holiday destination of the northern Italian families seeking recluse from their daily city lives.
Today, Puglia, although largely unspoilt and untouched by tourism, is becoming the new destination for Europeans & North Americans. Last September the New York Times wrote about the “The ancient allure of Puglia”. The London Evening Standard reported on the “Wild Beaches” of Puglia, The Washington Post, Forbes and Travel and Leisure.com, to name but a few also had their views and hints as to where, what and why you must visit Puglia.
Whilst a few journalist’s articles may give you an appetite to learn more, there is nothing like seeing Puglia with your own eyes. We offer you, Trullo Dipinto as a base to explore the region of Puglia; discover for yourself the legendary wine and food; soak up the warm sunshine for the best part of the year; and melt in the embrace of its volatile history & architectural side effects.
A short distance from the nearest beaches, Trullo Dipinto provides a country setting whilst being both accessible to the private beaches (lido) and the old “White City” of Ostuni. The property abounds with privacy, situated at the end of a country lane, the odd trullo dispersed amongst the neighbouring properties.
Family & Friends
Trullo Dipinto would ideally suit two couples with two or three children or a group of friends wanting the freedom to explore or hibernate by the pool. Works for 7 or 8. Exclusive for our Guests at Relax Puglia
Chef in Casa - Home-cooked food for travelers of the world; what better way to grasp the inner circle of local life than to have a local cook share with you their Puglia cuisine, as cooked in their homes. We are fortunate to have on board Lucrezia, who has been working with Relax Puglia for nearly ten years.
Lucrezia is warm and generous with a passion I can only envy for cooking; but looking after two growing boys has been her real inspiration; working magic with fresh and seasonal local ingredients. Enquire with us, we have set menus available to choose from or let us know what you’ve in mind.
Cooking Classes – If you are looking to entertain the family and also wish to experience real Pugliese country cooking then look no further. Hands-on cooking lessons where everyone gets to be involved making a full course meal, from anti-pasto to first and second courses and to complete it with a traditional sweet dish.
In-house Massages - Life is easier when you are relaxed so you may need to pamper yourself or someone else. Bring the Massage Therapist to your Puglia rental villa door and enjoy a delicious massage, a fusion of eastern and western techniques pointing you towards both relaxation and cure.
The best part about bringing the Massage Therapist to your door is, you don’t have to drive, you don’t have to deal with the outside world, you don't even have to get dressed although the Therapist would appreciate you wear a robe!
"Today we leave after four wonderful days spent with my daughter and my son-in-law in this fantastic place surrounded by the pine forest with beautiful olive trees. Trullo Dipinto is beautifully organized! Congratulations and I hope to return as soon as possible!"

"We had hoped to find some peace and quiet, a respite from the chaos of Rome, and especially the past few months. What we found was Paradise! Thank you for such a beautiful space to clear one's mind and restore one's soul."
Terri & Marcus - September 2020
"Wow! A stunning trullo and perfect break. Thank you so much Lisa and Stephen for going us a week to breath without a mask. We will be back. All our love."

"Looking at this book we discovered we are the first Italian people, or better Napoletani (from Naples). This place we will miss to much, the peace and silence, everything wonderful.. See you soon Trullo Dipinto."
"Such an amazing 10 days here. Thank you! Beautiful house, incredible location and a fantastic pool. Highlight for we was visiting Monopoli and seeing the different countryside around Alberobello (along with the fantastic trulli there). Some amazing meals: won't forget the Caprese salad and ribs. I had at Ostuni's "Del Tempo Perso" Restaurant. Highly recommend getting a tuk-tuk to the top of Ostuni and walking down, browsing the shops. Too much rosé, such fun! Ciao :)"

"We were so impressed by Relax Puglia at every step of our visit from initial booking to assistance at every stage. Thank you Colleen + Antonella.
Thank you thank you for giving me a Michael Caine bedroom. I couldn't believe having a room with a giant poster of the Italian Job. Above is a picture of me with Michael when we were quite a bit younger!! (Picture is not included). He is still a very good friend. "

"Puglia wonderful, Trullo Dipinto beautiful, we have had an unforgable holiday here. So much too see and enjoy in this unspoilt area of Itali! Trullo Dipinto has made our holiday extra special!!!"
John & Angela - May 2019
"This summer we stayed a week at the trullo Dipinto nearby Ostuni. It was a nice experience to spend our holidays in the beautiful restored house.
The house is located somewhat secluded in the middle of olive groves. The extensive estate is an olive grove in which a beautiful garden is integrated around the house. The garden is very well cared for and goes over nicely in the rougher parts of the authentic olive grove.
There is a beautiful and very well maintained swimming pool with excellent sunbeds and parasols. Between the pool and the house there is a spacious pergola with a large table.
The house has several bedrooms and a large living room. Everything is well maintained and the house is very clean.
Ms. Colleen Boot, who is responsible for the house, is very helpful and receives guests in a fantastic way. She clearly controls everything and ensures that everyone who is responsible for the maintenance and the services performs their duties properly.
One suggestion maybe. A fence around the pool, especially for guests with small children.
Trullo Dipinto and Relax Puglia: A good combination, a must!"
